Cailin is THRILLED to be directing one of her all-time favourite musicals this winter. Rehearsals are under way for the iconic rock musical, Jesus Christ Superstar, with SaskExpress.
Every act of betrayal begins with something worth betraying. The story has been told for centuries, but have you ever wondered about the people, the friendships and the inner struggles that led to the moment that history remembers most?
One of the most celebrated rock operas of all time, Jesus Christ Superstar tells a familiar story from a powerful new perspective: through the eyes of Judas Iscariot.
Set against the final days of Jesus’ life, the story explores the complicated relationships between Jesus, Judas, Mary Magdalene and those closest to them. As Jesus’ influence grows, friendships are tested, loyalties are questioned and the lines between love, fear and betrayal begin to blur.
Told entirely through song, Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice’s legendary rock opera features an unforgettable score, including “Superstar,” “I Don’t Know How to Love Him” and “Gethsemane.”
With electrifying music, powerful performances and deeply human storytelling, Jesus Christ Superstar offers an unforgettable theatrical experience, whether you know the story by heart or are discovering it for the first time.
Cailin is beyond excited about the talent she has assembled for this show and is sure it will be a hit! Don’t miss out! Get your tickets HERE.
