Cailin Stadnyk is an award-winning actor, singer, dancer, motion capture performer, and director whose career has spanned theatre, film, television, and performance capture across Canada and beyond. A versatile performer equally at home in a musical or a play, Cailin has worked with many of Canada’s top theatre companies. Over the course of nearly eight years, she performed on and off with Come From Away in both the Canadian production and the Broadway First National Tour, culminating in her taking on the role of Beverley/Annette & Others for Mirvish Productions and Junkyard Dog Productions.

Growing up in Regina, Saskatchewan, Cailin began performing at a young age before attending the Theatre Arts program at Grant MacEwan College in Edmonton. After graduating, she moved to Vancouver and began building what has become a diverse career across the performing arts.

Best known for her theatre work, Cailin has built a career playing bold, complex and often very funny women on stages across the country. Her work also extends to film and television, as well as an extensive career in motion capture, where she has helped bring countless characters to life in video games, animation, film and television.

Alongside her work as a performer, Cailin is expanding her creative practice as a director, bringing nearly 30 years of professional experience into the rehearsal room from a new perspective. She is passionate about storytelling, collaboration, developing artists, and creating work that is both rigorous and joyful. Cailin lives with her husband, Michael, and their adorable pup, Lolli—and continues to sing in honour of her much-missed fur-baby, Rigby.
